Jason Biggs

Director

Living in Fayetteville for the past 5 years, Jason brings a fresh approach to The High School Show by bringing a fun work environment and a hard work ethic to the High School Show Staff. Labeled as a “fearless leader”, Jason loves working with the Sportstalk team and enjoys adding new team members to the group. A graduate from the University of Arkansas, Jason is known for sending emails late at night and early in the morning. Though he is an avid runner, He enjoys reading biographies of great leaders throughout history and is inspired by the likes of Patrick Henry, James J. Braddock, and Paul Bunyan. He attends New Heights Church where he teaches 5th grade Sunday School.

Jacob Pinter

Radio Host

Jacob Pinter is an award-winning television anchor and radio host.  In the spring of his senior year at Fayetteville High School, Jacob became The High School Show’s first-ever student radio host, then won the Student Television Network’s national TV anchoring competition.  He is now a freshman at the University of Arkansas, where he is pursuing a broadcast journalism degree.  He will gladly stop and talk to you about pretty much anything, especially high school sports, St. Louis Cardinals baseball, or the finer points of blues music.

Ben Schmuck

Content Manager

During Ben’s childhood, he lived in 5 different places before he called NWA home 10 years ago. Ben joined the High School Show team early in his sophomore year while also studying at the University of Arkansas where he is attempting to graduate with a degree in Journalism.  He enjoys watching any type of sporting event. His favorite sports teams are Arkansas Razorbacks and the New York Yankees. He attends Fellowship Bible Church where he leads a 7th grade cell group and is also a member of Beta Upsilon Chi Fraternity (BYX). Very active on Twitter, you can follow him at @benschmuck13.

 

Robert Felton

Co-Host/Corespondent

Robert Felton started as intern at Sports Talk in January of 2011. He officially became part of the organization in August. Before working at Sportstalk, Robert played NFL Football for the Oakland Raiders and the Buffalo Bills. Robert does yoga on Monday nights and is an Adult Kickball League champion. Robert listens to both types of music–country and western. He enjoys traveling to other parts of the world and loves to learn about new cultures.

 

 

Logan Wilson

Staff Writer

Logan is majoring in Broadcast Journalism and minoring in Spanish as a sophomore at the University of Arkansas.  In the seventh grade, he was voted “Most likely to become University of Arkansas Athletic Director,” even though it appears he will take a different career path, now.  For those familiar with the Rogers SMAT shirt, Logan’s shirt read “DRIVING WHILE INHOGSICATED” on the back as he was regarded one of the biggest Razorback fans in high school.  Aside from school, work, and sports, Logan is a devout Christian. Now he attends First Baptist Church of Rogers’ college ministry with whom he visited Nicaragua on a mission trip.  Logan also grew out and donated 14 inches of hair to the Locks of Love Foundation while in High School.

 

Clay Draper

Intern/Production

Born and raised in NWA, Clay has always had an interest in the happenings of local sports and events.  Living in Fayetteville for the last 4 years, he is a senior at the University of Arkansas where he will graduate in May with a degree in Supply Chain Management from the Sam M. Walton College of Business.  He grew up playing baseball but he enjoys just about any sport.  In his spare time he enjoys running, and playing the occasional game of tennis or sand volleyball.  He is also in a community group on campus where he leads a bible study.

 

Colton Corter

Staff Writer

Colton Corter is a freshman at the University of Arkansas. Born in Little Rock, Colton graduated in 2011 from Malvern High School in Malvern, AR.  He is a Journalism/Political Science major and enjoys all sports. At Malvern Colton played basketball, baseball, football, soccer, baseball, and quiz bowl. A three-time all-region choir performer, Colton loves music. Colton Corter is fanatical about four things in life: John Mayer music, Cubs baseball, the Arkansas Razorbacks, and God. He spends his summers working as a counselor at Family Farm, a Christian day camp in Glen Rose, AR. He is very funny, according to himself.

 

Martha Swearingen

Street Team Coordinator/ Staff Writer

Martha Swearingen is a sophomore at the University of Arkansas and is double majoring in Accounting and Broadcast Journalism as well as minoring in Spanish.  Martha is from NWA, and played volleyball for Har-Ber in high school.  She was in the AAO Top 25 her sophomore year and was a participant in the USA Volleyball Camp.  She is currently a sports writer for the Arkansas Traveler and OnCampusSports.com.  She is also an intern at Hog Sports Radio and a volunteer for UATV.  In her spare time she enjoys coaching a team of 15-year-olds at the Ozark Juniors Volleyball Club.  She is also a member of St. Thomas Aquainas Church in Fayetteville.
